Although lots of people disagree, I don't think they're too bad appearance-wise if done well. What's the point, though? In order to do this, one pays for the parts, bodywork and good paint on top of pizzing away whatever value was left in his C4.
Another thought; C5's really aren't much more expensive than C4's now. Obviously, a Crossfire doesn't cost the same as an '04 z06, but a friend of mine is looking at a '98 with 65k miles for $16,500, when I paid $15k for my '96 LT4.
I thought about it because I think that it is unique but the kit and lights were more than I wanted to spend. You will get the same opinions here of any ground effects, spoilers, etc... because many feel that the cars look good as is. Yours is the only opinion that matters on your car though
the best c4 to c5 conversion i ever saw its the one GM made in 1997
If you want the C5 look wait a couple more years and buy a C5 in the $10K-$12K range. It will cost you less than your C4 plus the kit, labor and paint to get it installed right.

damn you guys are lucky in the US, over in Perth Western Australia, i was looking at a few vettes and for a c4 88 coupe, (they were on special for) $19990, a c5 was $59990, and they even had a 67 427 vert for $119990, no extra zero's either!
