TH700R4 - Reverse drum ...does not fit ?

TH700R4 - Reverse drum ...does not fit ?
Hi i purchased a brand new reverse drum for my TH700R4
and i find out that the piston that is supposed to go inside
does not fit the same way,its floating !!!!
The clearance circled in red is thicker...what's the problem ?

ps : on the original drum it does fit very well
and it seems like extra space,this is the NO CHECK BALL version,the original has a check ball

NEW DRUM WITH PISTON
