4+3 shifter question
I purchased an 86' coupe with a 4+3 trans about 7 months ago and it doesnt even have 30,000 miles on her yet. Its in great shape but I noticed alot of play in the shifter assembly , when I got it home I found that there is a shaft that holds the shifter in place and there are bushings on either end of the shaft .It looks like the bushings have wore into the fiberglass and have made the holes bigger and causing the shifter to wobble. does anyone have a breakdown or diagram of the shifter assembly so I can see what I can do to fix it ?? Any help would be great Thanks
