Default head light sensor

Hi all,

new to the sight and the car. Would anyone be able to tell me the location of the light sensor for the headlights. is it that sensor in the middle of the dash near the windshield or is it directly ontop of the cluster?

The one for the headlights is on top of the cluster directly in front of the drivers seat.

I have a '90 and I also have a sensor located next to the windshield (what that's for I don't know) But the headlight sensor is above the cluster.

To stop the popping up of the headlights pull the headlight sensor gently

out of the top of the dash and install a 100 ohm resister in each wire and you will disable the automatic headlight function.

You will have complete control of your headlights and they will only come up now using the switch manually

Gary

BTW...Did mine about 4 years ago. Used to drive me nuts too not to mention the extra wear and tear on the headlight motors, bushings etc.
