I finally got the '85 aligned. It only took 2 1/2 hours. That really isn't all that bad considering I had rebuilt the entire rear suspension over past month.
I installed the Rippie control arm brackets and then used the hiem jointed rear toe assembly from Vette Brakes. I'm scheduled for Sebring on Sunday so I'll let you know how this all goes on Monday.
All of this is going to be in an upcoming article for Corvette Fever but I'm attempting to post my daily progress on my blog site.
I'll be watching for that article. Sounds like the kind of car I would love to have. Since I run my car in NCCC 1SG I'm very limited in what changes I can make. I do run different brakes for HPDE than I do for NCCC events so I'm getting a lot of experience at making fast brake swaps.
Keep us posted on how the project is coming along.
