Thanks folks, Anyone interested in it? I was gonna put it up on ebay. I used it for a demonstrater for Carlisle this year and I had alot of folks wanting to buy it.
Hey Yank !!!! thanks again !!!!! I was too busy to shop for myself !!!! I haven't gotten it on yet. Waiting to see what heads I'm going with. It's been in the shop but I've been too busy to work on it more than a little bit at a time. It has been painted more times than I could believe, the silver that you saw. red underneath that and then black. The black was done with a primer or a two part epoxy-resin. What a PITA !!!! It's been through the blaster, the hot tank and the parts washer as well as a quart of paint stripper. It's almost there. I'm gonna do the 219 cam with most likely a set of heads that I will do. Lingenfelter has a deal going on where they do your heads, CNC'd with all the extras for a somewhat decent price. I am bombed with plenum work so I MAY go that way. One of my ported plenums and I have a set of SLP runners that I've cut and welded. Pretty wild actually. I was going to offer this on my website but it's ALOT of work. It should run real strong. If I don't talk to you I'll bring it to Carlisle next year and use it as the center piece of my both. Take a look then !!!! Thanks again! It was a pleasure meeting and speaking with you. -Mike
Mike, I already have my Carlisle tix for next year!
I can't believe all those layers of paint were on that intake manifold. I still may be parting company with the superram I picked up at Carlisle but will definitely call you first.
Thanks everyone !!!! It's definatly a Callaway plenum. I have it up on ebay as I promised several people I would give everyone a fair shot at it. Do a search for "Ported Callaway Plenum" or just look up my username: mpe7mike
