Default Callaway plenum ????????

Hi folks, I picked up a load of plenums for my bussiness and I have one that I think may be off of a Callaway Supernatural. It's for an '89 only model year and it has a 3/8" channel milled into the top side near the runner mounting surface. Both sides of course. I have been told that is where the Callaway nameplates were installed. Any info would be greatly appreciated. -Mike

Supernaturals I think were only 92 forward. 89 would have been a twin turbo. Might need to post a pic for others more knowledgable to see.

Except for the extremely rare 500+ intake, I don't believe Callaway used any plenums other that stock. The B2K cars had the stock L98 plenum, though it was finished crinkle-black. The Supernaturals had stock LT1/4 plenums.

Post a picture, I'm sure you'll get much more help that way.

Hey Mike I stopped by your Stand at Carlisle and chatted with ya for awhile on Fri. afternoon. Your Plenums and Runners are works of art. Was nice chatting with ya. I learned a little something about the wall the L98's have. It might add a tenth and a few mph to my car. Pipe

Is there any signs of black paint? If you look at the pic here http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...%3Den%26sa%3DN

It looks like it but black!

Looks like an L98 plenum that has been siamesed.

I have never seen a stock TPI plenum with those channels before. The only thing I can think of is that is a Callaway plenum.

See now, It was black when I got it, faded and worn though. I stripped it and ran it through the media blaster. As for the siamesing..... I did that !!! It's what I do !!!! Corvetteplenum.com

After it came out of the mill I noticed the two channels cut into it. I talked to a callaway guy and he said his Callaway logos were cast into the plenum. I'm doubting that now. I picked it up as a lot of 30 or so used plenums from a Corvette junkyard in Florida. Can anybody verify this as a Callaway plenum? -Mike

The logos were narrow emblem plates, not cast in.
