96 colectors
I have had both a 96 CE LT4 coupe and a currently an LT4 CE Vert. I love the LT4 and the CE is a great package. The only thing I will warn you about is the optispark. My 96 LT4 vert had only 27K when it went bad about 6 months ago. My point being is that milage does not mean alot to the opticrap

Otherwise, with low milage and mint, I would say 15 is a little high, however, if it is the one you want I say go for it. Offer 14 and see what he says. But I would not pass it up over 1k, it is getting harder to find mint low milage C4's.
And just so you know how much I love this particular car. I traded in my coupe, for a new 04 Z, then about a year ago, I had to have another CE. I paid alot more than 15k for a mint CE vert with every, I mean every option. It won a couple awards at the big Chicago show for the previos owner, ran great then the opti died. she's perfect again now. Truth be told having both an 04 Z and the 96, my wife and both prefer the 96. Odd I know, I just love the car.
Outside of the ZR1 the 96 LT4 is the best C4 IMHO. I drove the wheels off the last one and never had a problem, well over 100k and no Optispark problem. Just goes to show, that one thing you cannot figure.

Classic! Good for you Mr. Blond! Some of these members are members of the 3rd leg if you catch my drift! The 96' CE LT4s are rated @ 330hp. Depending on where you live the price might be a little high for the economy. The world is going through a financial meltdown, England just nationalized the banks this morning and the Japanese just experienced the worst stock market drop since "Black Monday" in 1987. What this all means is "cash is king" be careful with your money. This crisis has a long ways to go and many folks will be selling and better cars will be available in the coming months. Many sellers need to move these cars, just to survive until better days. However, if you feel you really need this car then start you offer price at around $9,000, you can always offer more but it's very difficult to offer less! Remember your buying a car not looking to make a new friend and never let the other party think or believe you NEED or Love his car. Act like your doing them a favor by even looking at it! There's currently hundreds and hundreds of vettes available on the Internet. Most are NOT selling at any price so keep your head and good luck in your quest!
