I quit filling up unless I am going some distance.
I have been burned with gas going bad in both my vettes 3 times now. Not from Shell though.
Gas going bad? Is that like cobwebs in the tail-lights? I hate that.

Got my 85 in April. Owner's manual came with it stating that 87 was Ok to use. After talking with several mechanics and other owners they recommended using 89 (mid-grade-can't get 91 here) from a name brand (I use Irving) and avoid no-names station, where you don't know what the gas is or where it came from. Every third or 4th tankful I use the premium (93).

But the real unanswered question is "160* vs stock T-stat" or was it "x50 vs V1"
