Well this weekend I decided that my new 3 piece lower valance pieces needed a little more love then just the plain flat look. So I decided to make a splitter for the them. I think it came out GREAT! I went to a local car show today and I got some good feedback from some of the local old timers! It seemed that they really liked it!
NOW! THE PROPOSITION! If enough of you forum members really like it I will go and talk to a local plastic molding company and see how much it would cost to make a couple sets of these! If I can make them cheap enough I will sell them for cost of production and shipping. SO! Let me know what you think! And hopefully Ill have better pics later this week! Maybe Ill make a poll???...
Thanks guys!
JT
Here is a quick vid of the car. *WARNING FOUL LANGUAGE* Please excuse my girlfriends mouth.
I digg it. I'd be down for a set, I'd think it's actually help when hitting lowspots and such. Just can't tag a parking block or it'd be toast, but I normally back in anyway to avoid just that.

You are correct sir! It actually helps when bottoming out! It guides the lower valence UP and away! from the ground. I tested it on purpose. No damage to speak of and it stayed in tact!
Hopefully Ill get a poll going after I talk to the molding guy... If there are enough ppl that want it... I will purchase the molds and bite the bullet on the cost so US corvette guys can have some DOPE looking rides
I'd be interested if it included the center piece, and provision for brake ducts
Like Mid America's, but a lot bigger
Well the idea is NOT to create a whole new piece but to create a lip that will screw or rivet into place so that you can fit it to your existing valence. That means less cost because less material and with a little trimming I can make it fit on both 84 - 89 and 90 - 96 body styles.

Looks good but I'd like to see it with a shorter lip and the studs/screws in black.
