i know their has been a thread on this before but i would like to see if anyone has anything new. im gettting ready for a engine build, and i have had my valve covers powder coated for about 2 years now and they have some piting, so while the engine is all apart i will be changing them out with something, not sure just yet what im going to use. i dont wont anything that is going to stick out like a sore thumb.

These guys have similar covers to the old-school style above (great look, BTW!):

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your comments. floridamale, I almost went with those covers myself, they are really good looking.
Bornin87, if you are looking for centerbolt covers you will find the selection very small.

I also looked at the ones you have but when I found mine @ under half of retail price I couldn't say no. I was a little worried about having to mill holes for the PVC & breather but turned out to not be a big deal.

Trick flow makes an adapter that converts center bolt covers to perimeter bolt covers, cost is around 100 bux.

floridamale, those look pretty good, but im question with these where do you cut out the pvc and breather on these covers and not mess the looks up?

how did you go about?

They are set up with baffles that allow for milling holes in the top side of cover so you use the PVC as a oil fill its no big deal and it keeps the covers looking great. Just needed to drill a 1 inch hole. You cab see the breather in pic 1 & PVC in pic 3

Painted runners, and you could not get them to look like they do if they had stock PVC & breather locations mounted on the top side is good and they are not in way

Floridamale is that a fuel gauge next to the intake or an oil pressure gauge.
