i could not get the key out of the zf shift **** with screwdrivers so i drilled a small hole in the top of the key and used a slide hammer with a drywall screw in the end of it to extract the key. worked great. see ya

Well, I have been away from the forum for a LONG time, but I have to update this thread.

A 6'7" 270 lb guy named Hauptman to help me redo my interior. I still haven't replaced the carpet yet and I think that's why my cargo box doors don't work anymore....

When you have a long, hard job going...............they give a break every hour so. That's about how long they last.

As far as the worst tool.....Guess that would be the cutting torch used to "blow out" the "easy out" (yeah, right) in my exhaust flange.

I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I used a detail brush taped to an arrow shaft along with PVC pipe connected to a shopvac to clean the front face of the radiator. I've since mated the brush to the pipe though.

Oh and a class four PFD is standard equipment for my tool kit. It makes a perfect seat for working on the wheel areas etc.

I'd say the worst tool is the one that falls off the top of the C-beam and hits you in the head, or the one that disappears into the abyss under the engine, especially if you're in a hurry.

Not on the vette, but the worst tool I have ever used is any type of "easy out"
There is nothing easy about them, and they take nothing out.
Fun to drill through when they snap, too!
