How hard was it to put the rebuilt transmission in? Did you have to cut the rods in the rail?

I didn't get any pictures.Basically you remove the lower cushion.Push back the clip under the front seat.Theres a lot of wires and cables there but you only have to disconnect 2 wire connectors. Then unbolt 4-13mm bolts.Note the holes are marked P-pass side or D-drivers side. Now the base should lift out leaving you with the track. You may have to temp. plug the seat back in to move the track to access the 4 remaining bolts. Now that you have the track out theres 3 10mm bolts and 3 metal clips holding the cable covers on.On the opposite side of the trans there are 2 cotter pins you need to remove so you can spread to 2 sides apart. Now the trans should come out. Next you'll have to contact Keen with your shaft measure so you get the right one.I took my old one with me to Vettefest and exchanged it there.

Thanks for the good word, and glad to hear everything went smoothly! This really is an easy fix for anyone who has hands on capability. If the motor is still good, then swapping out the seat transmission is an easy way to fix it. We still have plenty of the transmissions in stock!
