Surprised you didn't ask for what causes the codes. Or will you just gleam the knowledge from Hib when he posts his article.

Yes, I have been misinformed but no big deal guys.

I shorted pins 3 to 4 (the CORRECT way BTW for a 95)

I got the following codes:

14 front right time out
21 front left time out
31 front left out of position

Now what does this mean? =) AKA: How do I fix these problems?

Pull the cap that has the motor in it and look inside it usually the gear gets broken. There is a clip that holds it on the shock. They are plasitc and fragile. What the system does on start up is rotate the shock left and right to check it.Try turning the ignition on with the caps off and see what the gear does and recheck for faults. If the shock is seized and cap ok you can get the shock rebuilt but it costs almost as much as buying a new one.

Actuator are~$200 or if this link still works you can get them fixed with a metal gear http://www.captainzcnc.com/

My fix was ty wrap the actuator back replace the shocks and remove the SRC bulb I did not think the cost was worth it for a DD

It looks like the gear inside the actuator is broken and it looks as though maybe the little gear on top of the shock (blue plastic?) is broken as well. I will try to post pictures later. (Have not checked right side yet)

Sounds like I figured you will find the gear on the other side is bad and mabey the shock OK or not. Do you feel like paying $600 to $800 to have it working? If not time to get some regular shocks.

Hell no I dont want to pay that much to have it working. I am a poor person...well middle class. How come my SRC light now flashes WHILE I AM DRIVING? After I pulled codes, my SRC light started flashing while I am driving. And yes, I have removed the paper clip.

Put the clip back in and and disconnect one side every 2 seconds for 3 times to reset the codes. No mention in FSM of a continuous flashin SRC light.

Update! I am in the process of keeping the option. I am buying two shock gears from Captain Z, and I am going to get my actuators rebuilt for $125 a piece. Thanks for all of the help guys.

Glad to help. With CaptZ's metal gears it might last should have been that way from the factory.

I agree. I am getting new shock gears too because both of mine are broken. =( Should have been metal from the get-go.
