thanks, the problem I'm having is I replaced the opti-spark, put wires and new plugs in at the same time, but the car will still not start. It seems like it is out of time. I have replaced the opti-spark, wire and plugs before without any problems. I'm trying to figure out what I might have missed putting it back together?

Sounds like you installed it misaligned. There is a key in the spline shaft that must line up and can be forced in. The Opti should easily "pop" on against the TC. Take the shaft from the old one it will pull right out and find the right orientationon of the key for the new one. Align it and wiggle it a little it should slide very easily into position.

Yep I'm experenced myself and last time I put one in I had it wrong.
It has a distintive clunk when it's right.
Don't install water pump till you fire it up just to make sure you have it right.
