Default Custom c4 emblem

There was a member that painted his emblems with a custom scheme within the past three months. I must be searching the wrong keywords because I will be danged if I can find it.
I want to show it to my daughter to have her do something similar.

Can anyone help a brother out

Hello, and thanks Iroc...

Yes I did make a post a while back about painting my old emblems.

I used acrylic Waterbased Paint Found at any craft store and then clear coated with automotive clear.
and here is the pic.

Do the inserts in the originals pop right out or is there a trick to it.

Thanks Guys,

The Acrylic that is in there originaly is semi-easy to get out, but once all the original acrilic is gone the bow tie is molded in to the metal so i used some bondo to fill it in and sanded it flat. It took a little bit of work to get it to be a paintable surface but it was well worth it!
in my opinion, I think it will look great and VERY Original. I havent seen it done before.

I actually pulled the pipes off. They were cool but very loud and ground clearance was tight. I want the car to be a comfortable driver this year so I put on factory LT1 muffs and plan on a good detailing for the interior and under the hood. I just grabbed a set of those nice finned aluminum crate valve covers and an aluminum PS reservior.

Maybe the acrylic insert can be painted over. Thanks for the tip on the bondo

email / Send me a PM.........if you want one of these.....

Similar to the 40th Anniversary and considering that
a lot of C4s were built in 1983.......consider it a
Unofficial 30th Anniversary C4 Coupe..
.these will be laser-cut acrylic emblems with
colors of Black and Chrome and of you want to
personalize it with your VIN# or Z51 You can.....

Uhhhh.... following your logic, wouldn't the 93's (40th Anniversary) then actually be 39th Anniversary cars?

An 84 is an 84 is an 84, and it was built 31 years after the first Corvette (1953). There is no 30th Anniversary Corvette..... and yes I know you said 'unofficial', so no need to come back and tell me that. I just think this sort of stuff is cheezy, why do we need to create something that isn't. it's a goddamn Corvette, isn't that enough? Leave the make believe and the emblems and the for the ricers and their Honda Civic Sti RT GTX crowd.
