Default Spring projects for the vette [PICS]

Well its time to reveal this years "before spring projects". I envy the guys with their engine build threads, but for this year this will have to do for me...

This year the major projects are:

Suspension upgrade (coil overs)
Hotcam (fix oil leak at opti)
Lightweight Flywheel
Ignition wires
Exhaust
Weaterstrip
Paint (refinish front)
Interior (refresh)
Tune

The parts list is as follows
  • HotCam (GM)
  • Front opti seal
  • Front cover gasket
  • Oil pan gasket set
  • Waterpump seal
  • Waterpump gaskets
  • Waterpump O-rings
  • Ignition wire set
  • Headers (not yet bought, thinking about EM)
  • Fidanza Aluminium Flywheel
  • Hypertech 160 T stat
  • Carrera/Guldstrand Coilovers
  • Intermidiate Steering shaft
  • Weaterstrip complete kit
  • Weaterstrip for front wheelwells
  • Rear 1" spacers/adapters
  • Front lip/spoiler (stock GM)
  • Yellowstuff brake pads (F+R)
  • Door switch
  • Gear ****
  • Alcantara Shif boot
  • Alcantara console cover
  • CF Radio brezel
  • CF Shifter brezel
  • CF PW door control brezel
  • Refinished Air vents
THINK thats all... for now...
I feel like christmas

Fidanza FW, bought at Ultrarev

Hot cam and gaskets, bought at Pace performance (good price!)

Coil overs

Some Misc....

Weaterstrip kit. Bought on ebay for 250$, will report back on quality and fitment (seem good!)

Refinished the stock Air vents. HOT water, Time, grid 300, grind 800, and flat black... voila...

CF and alcantara interior bits

For the actual work progress I will try and post pics along the way...Starting next week

I suppose you could do the same for the console shift plate. Mine needs it badly. Thanks for the tip.
