I traded my Harley for a 96' collectors edition Vette and the guy I did the even trade with was honest and told me about the oil leak. He believed it was the valve cover gaskets but when I brought to Chevy they said it was the head gasket leaking. So they replaced the gasket and at the same time told me they had to replace the valve cover gaskets because they had to be remove. However it has been one week and half and I still have a very small leak. Not like before. They told me that it could be lelf over residual from the job???? Anyone have any ideas? I called them today and they said bring it back. I just don't want to be hose by them.

It could be residual oil like they said. If it's at the rear of the engine it could be from the intake manifold, a very common problem. If it is you might be able to get the dealer to address it since they would have had to remove the intake to change a head gasket.
Here's what I would do: clean up the engine real good so that you can actually see where the leak is coming from. Oil leaks out the intake manifold are very common in the LT-series motors, and that may be your problem.
