'93 clunks between accelerate/stop

'93 clunks between accelerate/stop
I can hear and feel a clunk underneath when I go from accelerate to brake. If I brake, let off and brake again no clunk. If I accelerate, let off and accelerate again no clunk. Only when going from accelerate to brake. Does this sound familiar to anyone. I'm aware that the ujoints will do something similiar but I'm not sure if there is a common problem with cars with high mileage. The sound appears to be coming from the passenger side.
