I am putting new carpet in my 86. How do you match the tunnel piece with the front floor piece, Which one overlaps the other and do you just glue them together. Does anyone know of a carpet install site or where i can get instructions so I can stop wasting you're time with stupid questions. any and all advice and or insults would be appreciated

mid america corvette carpet install instructions -
...a few words of advice - take your time - fit each piece - become **** about the job. if you bought quality mass backed carpet, your cutting and trimming should be minimal. as i recall from installing carpet in my 85, the only gluing should be the console sides and the under dash/knee pad pieces. finally, and i'm sure you've heard this before - there's no such thing as a stupid question, and NEVER think that asking questions around here is wasting anyone's time!!! good luck and post some pics when you're finished...
