Default Toggle switch in console

I have a toggle switch in my console just below the rear hatch button. Is this normal and if so what does it do?

I have a 95 and I have no switches below or around the hatch release button. It must be for some accessory. Maybe for an alarm or some other electronic equipment. Let us know what it is when you find out.

I think that there were originally wires for a live circuit left under the console for the owner to rig up something useful of his choice. CB, etc
So no telling what the original owner set it up for ..... might well be an ejection seat

Considering one of your other posts I would bet it is a manual fan control switch.

Now I want to know what it is. Besides the rear window button, there should not be another one (factory).

Go outside and turn it, make sure your wife or son is making a video for us.

OK bad news and good news. Bad news is I don't have smoke screen, machine gun or ejection seat. Good news my antenna goes up and down now.

Its actually a very good idea, saves wear and tear on the antenna, and since I just listen to sat radio who needs the antenna lol. I came to this conclusion after my works security gate arm malfunctioned and dynamically seperated my antenna from the rear of my car before I could safely pass. Needless to say the company bought me a new antenna and motor and a power down toggle switch. Hell of a way to get one although, The antenna pretty much stays down always now. I placed my toggle on the back side of the rear spare top mount insert directly behind the drivers seat. You would never know it was there.

That's where I put my antenna control switch, too. Works great, and it's good to have it handy if you get into a weak reception area. Flip the switch and the antenna goes all the way up! I usually have my antenna up only about one foot.

Goldcylon, you might need a tune-up. You must have the slowest Corvette in town. What happens to the guy with the Hummer and the CB whip antenna?

Default Bypass switch

Power antennae bypass switch. They suggest mounting there in the instructions.

You might think that but there are two speed bumps you need to negoiate before the car passes the gate arm. Also the MP dont take to you blasting by the MP shack. As to the Hummer when the gate takes out the winshied the RAM gate will take out the suspension lol
