Yes, there are some idiots out there, but you might find someone advertising Corvette parts for your year, and check their other auctions, or e-mail them about the auction, and ask them if they have the part that you are looking for. I have found hard-to-find parts that way on e-bay. Good luck!
yeah i know what you mean alot of fools on ebay have done the same to me for the paintball gear i've wanted to buy in the past i used to just end up getting frustrated and buying it locally from a shop and they always gave me 15% discounts anyhow. sometimes ebays not worth it cuz of all the bid crazy idiots.
I wrote the guy and asked why...here is his responce
actually TLD had a GM price change and the emblem is now $19.00. But,
believe it or not, for some reason, people want to pay more on ebay. I
haven't quite figured it out.
thanks for the input.
I notice that as of right now, there are no bids on this item. One thing to take into consideration as far as ebay is concerned, sometimes the price for a particular item is exclusive to a particular region, and may seem like a "discount" to other parts of the country/world (of course this disqualifies anything that can be ordered from a catalog).
WOW, that is an expensive site. I got a new keyfob from GMpartsdirect.com for under $100 about a week ago and I vould have gotten one at a local dealership for $120-130.
I came across this site. Maybe they'll be cheaper than GM.
You should see what people pay for a throttle body bypass kit. The guy lists them over and over and over and people keep paying.
TPI plenum extentions are another one. I may start selling them on Ebay myself. Retail at the dealer is about $20. My cost is about $15. They sell regularly on Ebay for $25.
Well I have 3 PKEs here but all of them have the loop broken where the keys hook too. I am trying to figure a way to repair these damn things.
I have found that if you purchase enough GM parts from the same person they will give you a nice discount. I am purchasing parts at 25% discount. There are only a few places that gets parts at 30%, mainly your high volume shops.
I think that I paid around $80 or $90 out the door.
