Default Seat Covers???

Anyone know if those seat covers in Ecklers, Corvette Central, etc are any good? When I hear the words "seat covers" I think of ill fitting slap on things with wrinkles and putting them on over existing materials? The perforations in my factory seats are finally starting to crack & I can't stand it! Will those covers look as good as simply reupholstering the seats??? (Local shop will do both seats for $600). Help!

Default Igee's are nice

Check out the Igee seat covers they cost about $180 plus shipping. So for less than $200 your set. They are not leather but they fit like a glove.

double think the Iggee ones, i got some and they had a massive air gap in the region where your lower back meets the seat, totally sucks!

Thanks....anyone have an idea if $600 is a good deal to have them reupholstered instead?
I don't want any gaps! Maybe there are different kinds?

Last summer I installed new leather over new foam from Wilcox and the result as beautiful. The leather is high quality and feels great too.

Wow, finally someone who has had trouble with their Iggee covers besides myself. I bought the standard seat covers for my '92. they shipped the ones for the sport seats. I never could get anyone at Iggee to respond to my problem. I kept them and put them on anyway. About two months after installation, the driver side seat back cover started to tear at the seam between the seat back and the headrest. Now its about 2" long. I WILL NOT buy from Iggee again.

Man the results from those seat covers is all over the board. I've seen they are the best ever to what a piece of junk and everything in between. I was thinking about putting on a set until I could get mine redone in a custom leather cover. The no response to your problem has me rethinking that move. There are always problems of one kind or another but when a company won't respond that's not someone I want to deal with.

Interesting..... I purchased a set a couple of years ago and love them.
Great fit, they hold up great and the colors held up and look better then the oem leather.
