Go to an automotive paint store, like dupont, ppg, what ever and they should be able to help you. They will have paint to be used with a HVLP gun or maybe some spray bombs.(cans).

I have used dupont products for the last 30 years. Expensive, but worth it. easy to use. They have knowlageable people at their stores. Depending on the condition of the part IMO.... determines if I would prime first.

The most important step is to thouroughly clean the part first with like a prep solvent. They have that at the paint store.

Good luck.

If your just looking for spray cans, just get them from Mid America or Ecklers. I have repainted the console and bezel in my car several times, and I would just make sure you sand them smooth, then use some kind of cleaner. More important then primer is to cover the painted surfaces w/ clear. You can get it at any hardware store.

I would recommend the use of a adhesion promoter, such as that used for painting external plastics, any good paint shop should be able to supply this, this will reduce the likelyhod of the paint chipping or peeling.
