Caliper mounts
I have an 86 I took apart the rear suspension to rebuild. I noticed the two rear caliper brackets are slightly different. One uses bolts that go through the housing and into nuts on the inside of the bracket. The other uses two screws that are threaded into the housing. part Number K361025-C Issue 5 and K361026-C Issue 8 are stamped inside the two brackets. I don't know if one was damaged at one time and replaced or if it came from GM like this. Does anyone know anything about this? Also I need to replace one of the wear shims that is the little thin strip of metal between the caliper bracket and the brake shoe.
