You will truly enjoy that car. Given time, you will figure out the "quirks" of the '93. Be sure to transfer your info. to the 40th Registry so that records are kept current, and don't forget to :seeya .
DITTO! The 40th Registry has been missing only 10 Ruby's since I've owned mine (little over a year). It would be something if yours was one of the unaccounted ones. Be sure to post some photos sometime soon too!
Also, for a first time owner, I'll give you a tip. It's amazing how many Ruby's I've seen aren't aware of this. Check under your hood near the fan shroud (I guess that's the correct word). Odds are there's some rubbing going on underneath the hood. You need to file down that fan shroud or before you know it, you could have a hole in your hood. It seems every Ruby I've seen has black paint worn away under their hood from this. Just a tip.
I just got it licensed in PA now..so everything is legal here..just need to get it inspected and then im all set. to bad it rained today but over the weeked its going to be sunny so maybe I will drive it..if the roads are ok.
My Ruby has 39,000 miles. I do not have the luggage rack. The sequence number is 9608. It has just about every option except the Z07. I was thrilled when I found out the car was a 6sp. I love it. There is not a swirl mark in the paint..the car is flawless. Too bad we still a month and a half of winter here..so I cant drive it much till spring.
I have wanted a ruby ever since I first saw them. The person who I bought the car from posted the ad on a friday and that sunday the was sold and a week later its sitting in my garage :D
