X pipe on 95 A-4

X pipe on 95 A-4
Will this make the car louder, and will there be any performance gains? the current exhaust is stock except for the mufflers i now have two bullet mufflers on it. I went to the drag strip last weekend, it ran 13.1 @104 mph ,sure would like a 12 second slip.i did a search but it did not help.. THANKS

1. wont make it louder unless you are taking the resonator out to replace with an x pipe. Might change the tone a bit if you are running without a resonator already.
2. Tiny bit, not enough to feel. I had straight pipes on my old 95 and threw the x-pipe in the middle, I loved that exhaust.
imo, the x-pipe wont push you into the 12s. you are close, but if i were you and wanted 12s id put some money into the engine ie: 1.6 roller rockers and springs etc
