new owner with problem

Default new owner with problem

Water pump quit & berfore idiot light came on and cracked heads,heads were replaced by myself but i dont have the proper torque for the rockers? Starts and runs great but i would prefer to have proper torque

If they are hydraulic lifters there is no need to torque them.

I usually back each one off until they start to clatter, then tighten until the clatter disappears. And finally give it about another 1 and a half turns.
Usually works fine that way with no problems.
