Finally a Vette owner!
Well, after months (if not years) of searching, I finally bought my first Corvette last weekend. Needs some work but here are some of the specifics:
1984 Corvette, Black, Black C6 rims, dual tops, gray leather interior, 58K miles.
Body is straight, no accidents, Carfax clear, glass good, rubber good, rear bumper fading, and tranny broke (700R4) and in boxes.
Paid $1,400. I figure great deal as a result of this economy.
Car is in my garage thanks to my wife putting her $30K van in the driveway. I was going to put it at the curb until I made room this coming weekend but wife said no go...put it in the garage as you have been wanting one for so long.
All for now. Look for me in the tech section as I have several questions regarding some features (other than tranny) that need work.
