Resin leaking out?

Resin leaking out?
I have what appears to be resin leaking out of the fiberglass of my hardtop. 
Is it possible for 13 year old fiberglass to do that? I would have thought it was just tree sap but it's on the inside of the car. It's only a few drops. Some was still a bit sticky but the rest was hard and crumbed off into a white dust. 
Under very close inspection there a small scratch in the paint where this stuff is coming out. Anyone ever hear of anything like this happening?

Yes, but not on C4's. It can happen on C3's and midyears, I would ask about it over there. I remember reading something about it a couple of years ago in Corvette Fever.
