Many of you will remember here a few months back where I had the overdrive unit pan leaking like a siv. I repaired the pan gasket 5 times, literally, and it still leaked. I did everything right, from using "the right stuff" to leveling the pan and everything. It was as professional as it could have been. I even had a professional mechanic friend put it in his shop and seal the gasket once. Still leaked. I have been so frustrated and no one seemed to have the answer. Finally, I thought that it had to be something else maybe causing the gasket to blow. Someone mentioned maybe the vent was clogged, so I spent a lot of time looking it over trying to find the vent....couldn't find it. Finally I jacked the whole thing off the ground, started it and put it in first gear. It would only leak if you actually drove it. We had a spot light under it looking for leaks while we drove. Would you believe that an obscure line above the pan was loose causing it to leak onto the gasket, making it look like it was leaking through there. Unbelievable! You have no idea how happy I am now that I can actually drive the car again. I have attached a photo below. You can see that my wrench is attached to the nut that was loose. Thanks for all of your help on here. I had my first dry weekend and even made it out to judge a car show on Sunday. Great feeling!

No sooner than I got this leak fixed something else popped up. I went to turn on the vent.........nothing. Absolutely nothing. One more thing to add to the list. All I need is time and money.
