Where's the paint code???
Time for a repaint on my 87' dark red. Can somebody tell me where I can find the code and if possible what name(s) the stock red ones are called?

According to the Corvette Black Book, there were 2 reds offered in 1987. They were: Dark Red Metallic (code 74) and Bright Red (code 81).
It may not be the same for '87, but what about checking for codes under your console lid, this is where mine are. Also, do you have the original/copy of the buildsheet? That would tell you as well.

Its usually one of the last couple codes on your RPO list, either in your center console or in the storage compartment behind the drivers seat
