I've read on here before about how outragous renewing your registration was on you're C4. Well, for the 3rd year in a row, my 1988 C4 had a price tag under $70 for it's registration. Not bad eh?
In WI, not that long ago, maybe 3 - 4 years, a car reg was $45 per year. Now, filing out the forms for the Vette, it $75
FYI for you Cheeseheads
If you buy a car from a state that does not issue temp tags to drive the vehicle home, the WI DMV will. you have to call though and they will mail you a 30 paper plate. The agent I spoke to had me on hold for at least 15 mins total, but in the end got me my plate.
Here in Kentucky we have to pay property taxes on vehicles every year. Tax and registration on my 96 last year was $182.54 and my 2001 Impala was $95.53.
I have a PA classic plate on my 85. Can't wait till 2010, then I'll get the antique plate (like my other old Corvettes). Antique plate = no more yearly inspections and emissions, that's a pain in the ****.

i decided against that. i have a 69 with a very low number on the classic plate, so i hate to give it up. plus there are more restrictions on driving with antique plates.
$54 for registration every year, no matter what kind of car. Heavy trucks, trailers, etc have different fees. Unfortunately its 25 yrs to get classic plates here.
