Tires for C$
Could also look at eBay for the Avon tires. Good tire, Tire Rack carries them as well. But, best price was on eBay $149 for two or another vendor had them at $415 for 4. Further, if you look at the Live Search rebate from Microsoft on eBay with Paypal and Buy it Now, the rebate is 8% today but it has been known to be more. And yes, not a scam, I've gotten my rebate either 60 days later or immediately. Bought my Cray wheels on eBay that way and saved...25% at that time for each wheel if I remember correctly...

I'm lost?
I also want to post in here because I am running F1's and I love them, but I would be open to and alternative so I would like to keep an eye on this thread.
Microsoft last year wanted to go into competition with Google. Their search site is Live Search. They coupled using their search site with a rebate you get from Microsoft when you buy on eBay with a Paypal account and buying from a vendor that has a Buy it Now on their auction. The vendor him or herself knows nothing about the rebate and is paid the full amount from your Paypal account. The rebate comes into your paypal account from Microsoft itself. So, essentially, you're buying something you want in any case and the rebate you receive is just a benefit to you! Read on...
Being the suspicious type, I did a search..."live search rebate" on Google. I found out about it first on the Woodsmith forum where these guys had been buying new tools on eBay and getting the rebate. So I read 25 to 30 pages there and whatever I found on Google.
Ok, so punch in "live search" on Google. Or just punch in "live.com". Whatever works for you. You'll get the search site up. Punch in a popular search term. I read and use(d) "Wii". In the first couple of returns, you'll see " Wii - www.eBay.comLive Search cashback
Buy Wii. You may get 8% off with PayPal if eligible." Hit that link. When you do, it will take you to eBay.
Now what you're looking for is the green banner on the top left of the page...which says: Must use Buy It Now and PayPal.
See conditions"
You need to see that green banner. I use Mac's Safari as my internet gateway, don't use Firefox as the banner wouldn't show up. I'm guessing it will come up with IE as well. You need that green banner up there otherwise, the rebate won't work. The Banner tells you what the rebate is...right now its 8%. Now type in your search term on Ebay. "Avon tires" or whatever. Look for the green banner. Last year the rebate varied between 25 and 35% at times. Read up on the conditions. You also need to sign up with Microsoft's live account. Its in the conditions. I wouldn't have signed up if they wanted any personal information which they don't. Once you're signed up, they deposit the rebate into your Paypal account. If you think they can take money out or its dangerous, don't do it. Your call.
Now, sometimes they deposit the money immediately. (I just bought something on eBay and they deposited immediately. But they can also take 60 days which I've gone through as well, but the money came in)
So, to recap, you have to have a Paypal account, buy on eBay with Buy it Now and sign up with Microsoft. If any of that sounds fishy, research, research, research like I did. I don't believe in free lunches, ever. But this works for a lot of people it seems. My spam has not increased and my computer security is up to date. If this sounds too complicated, don't do it.
Hope that helps. Please don't respond with comments about incredulity or rip off. As I said, its your choice, so research. If you don't want to get the rebates, don't. Its really that easy.
By the way, I have no affiliations with any of the sites I mentioned. Just a beneficiary from this program.

I assume there has to be something about this on microsofts web site? (as in info)
Very interesting....
Went straight as an arrow and they were the least expensive of the z rated major brand tires I could order.
My car is a great consumer of rear tires , aught to be a test bed w/free meats ! LOL
Thanks for all those who gave input.
