Locate fuel pump fuse. I forget if it's in the fuse box inside the passenger door on the dash or behind the battery.

Start the car pull the fuse let the car die and turn the key off.

Disconnect the neg term of the battery.

Get your fire extinguisher ready pull it's safty ring and make sure you know how to use it and keep it handy from here out.

Get 1/4 cup of olive oil or canola oil ready.

Remove the fuel rail covers.

With a rag to catch the gas underneith, disconnect the two fuel lines as the connect to the rail using a line quick disconnect tool. You push off the black and white rubber boots and then slide the disconnect into the connection while wiggling and they pop right off. Do not attempt this without the $10 line disconnect tool.

Remove the four bolts that hold the rail to the intake.

Disconnect the injector electrical connections by pushing on that little wire while wiggling and pulling up.

Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator's vacuum line.

Pull the rail with injectors attached off the intake by pulling straight up and wiggling.

Move the rail to your work bench but tip it's lines into a waiting bucket to drain the gas out.

the injectors are cliped onto the rail. Those clips will come off with needle-nose pliers.

Remove each injector from the rail by twisting it a bit as you pull.

If you're using Multec injectors then you will clip them to the rail and reverse the removal.

If you're using Jon's FIC awesome injectors then you will install the injectors to the intake and place the rail on top of it.

Lube the new injector o-rings with a dab (metric dab not emperial or SAE) of olive oil on your finger.

Reverse the removal process.

Turn the key to run and off three times before trying to start. Check for fuel leaks before starting the motor. Start the motor and marvel at a job well done and the nice clickity sound of the awesome FIC injectors from Jon.

Don't forget the relieve built up air pressure in the fuel tank. Loosen the fuel cap and leave it loose before loosening any fuel lines under the hood.

I just loosened the gas cap, relieved the pressure at the schrader valve, disconnected the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line, unbolted the fuel rails, wiggled the whole thing off and flipped it upside-down onto a towel laying on the surge tank. I used some Dawn dishwashing liquid to lube the o-rings.

here's a post from when I did my 92. hope it helps.

it's basically a pretty easy job on the LT1's. Look like a bear on the L98's.
