I made it!
Car actually made a 560 mile round trip to the DVC Corvette show in Concord. She drove fantastic. Drove past Petaluma (where she left me 3 weeks ago) and smiled. Met some real nice people out there. Got 4th place. I didn't know you had to clean car with toothbrush
CHP stopped me on the way back doing 75. Gave me a warning. I'm doing something right because that never happened to me before.Always got the ticket

I wouldn't hesitate driving my 88 to Cali from here in NH and back. Mine is stock with 98k miles on it and I am the 3rd owner. C4s are really dependable as built. But if something goes wrong it can be costly. And yes I like to gamble too.
