Default Fast Idle

94 LT1 Idles too fast with the TPS bolted to the engine, unscrew it and leave it hooked up and the car idles perfectly but I cannot install it and get the correct readings from the TPS or the right idle speed.
The installed voltage is 1.50 and .48 when hanging loose, it spans correctly.
Anybody had this problem?
Also has no Vacuum leaks and the IAC works like it should.

Is the TPS sensor or TB new? If "new" check to make sure it is the correct one for your application. If "old" why the problem all of the sudden did you do other work to the car or has the car always had a fast idle? Is the sensor indexed properly on the TB linkage?

I would tell you to drill out the mounting holes a little but your reading is too far off at 1.5V for that to help.

FYI....I posted an idle speed (on LT1) question a while back and was informed that the voltage at the TPS plug should be 5 volts.
