I've seen threads about guys redying their seats, dash panels etc to bring back the color but has anyone use dye to change the color?? How did it come out??

I just got 2 cans of Saddle from Mid America to re-dye my interior parts. I did the center console cover and it came out amazing. Just like new, you just need to take your time and cleaning the part beforehand is key. I can't wait to do the rest of the console and the carpets.
I plan on dyeing 2 door panels today (one charcoal gray/the other tan) using MidAmerica's Flame Red aerosol dye (I bought 2 cans/FEDEX dropped them off today)...any tips before hand?
For leather now, I've redyed any number of seats. I work with Leatherique products specifically as they custom color the dye to a patch you get them for the color you want. To re-color, the prep is the key. Everything else in terms of applying dye is the easy part. You have to get the old color off.
Leatherique has great directions on their website which will tell you how to go about this job with specificity. You can also call them as they are a small business with no "corporate" issues. They will answer any of your questions. Great people. Great product and their leather rejuvenation products are unbeatable.
