Default Remove seat back

I have read and reread the fsm and for the life of me can not fid the clips i am supposed to unhook to remove the seatback cushion. I am trying to get some play out of the seats the back moves about an inch or so front to back. I have the seat out changing the power track so seems like the perfect time but don't want to spend forever on it either..

If you put your hands in behind the cushion about in the middle and pull sideways in and then out it should pull out, takes a little pressure.Do a search i think there's pics of it somewhere on the forum, once you see the pics you'll see how easy it is

There are metel clips that the wire on the back of the seat snap into. I use a large screwdriver to push the wire out of the clip to release the seat back. Not hard just need to be aggressive...WW

Maybe these photos will help you:

If you pull the cushion away from the seat back, you can then slip your hand in to push the heavy retainer wire out of the clip. Reverse the process to re-install into the clips.

FYI, I had the same play you are describing. What I did was build up some J-B weld on the metal seat-bottom frame where it contacts the seat-back frame. So far it's holding.

I ground a crescent shape into the blade of an old large flathead screwdriver. It made removing and installing the seat cushions a snap. Also didn't have to worry about the screwdriver slipping off of the wire.
