A little, but not unreasonable.
I paid 13k for it, which in hindsight is probably a little bit too much for an LT4 with 84k miles, but it's in beautiful shape for how old/how many miles are on it.
I'm hoping within the next month or two I'm going to throw a Magnaflow Exhaust on it, the LT4 hotcam, and AFR 195cc heads. Then I'll have to post some vids of it tearing up the strip

The collectors insurance wont fly. He must be at least 25 years old. plus have a Daily driver car and a garage. Its a shame,he sounds like a nice kid who would take better care of the car than someone a bit older.

And I do have a daily car.
This is how my car situation is.
I (my family) have a 2009 Mazda CX-9 leased. (moms)
My dad has a 2004 or so Ford Taurus he gets for work. (dads)
My sister lives in the city. (doesnt need car)
My other sister is a soph in college. (to young for car)
That leaves and extra car, a Volvo whatever, 2005.

Well insurance isnt that bad. Its not cheap but not super expensive. I personally know because i am 17 and about to get my 3rd C4 Corvette. I have never wrecked any of them. My first was a 1996 Red C4 with a procharger, second was a 1984 just stock, and my third is going to be a 1995 but will just be a weekend car probably with a built motor.

kinda funny story.
im 18 and bought my own 87 coupe about a year and a half ago.
anyway about 2 months ago, i'm driving home from prom with my girlfriend and i come to a DUI checkpoint. the cop shines his light in, asks some questions and backs away for me to continue.
now, the car in front of me being questioned is probaly 25-30 feet in front of me, so i just slowly let off the clutch a little bit and roll the car about 5 feet before the cops start screaming and throwing a total fit.
"WOAH WOAH WOAH SLOW DOWN SLOW DOWN!!!!"
rasing their arms and everything
whatever, so they let the car in front of me go, it takes off continue behind it before i hear
"Wouldn't Want to wreck daddys car now wouldja?"
Slam on the brakes, look him in the eye with the biggest smile,
"Oh no worries, ITS MINE" in the most ******* voice possible
The look on this cops face was unforgettable. Totally owned
