any lights or electric in carr? I would start with the batt connection.
Happened to me in my garage one time, tried to start and nothing. Here the positive batt cable connection was some how screwed up, thank god I made it home the last trip.

This is a pretty general but when my alternator went out in my 89 coupe, it did the same thing. I would start with the electrical then go from there. Since that all seems to be good, fuel filter then pump would be next.

Usually when they just die, they throw a code. Check your codes.

Also, ohm test the fuel injectors, particularly if they are the original Multecs.
