relays
Hi everyone i have a 1986 convertable with 42,000 miles and i need to replace the relay for the antena and the one for the amps for the bose speakers. and any information as to where to find them on the car would be greatly appreciated. thanks for any replies

The antenna relay is under the rear trim, beside hatch latch.
The amp relay is bolted to the left side of dash support brace, just right of radio. It is a bitch to get at, so try and rule out the relay before you start digging for it.
It takes 2 fuses for the bose and antenna to work, clk/ctsy and radio, test them both first. If they are good, I will add more insight, later.

86 is right about the amp relay. When mine went bad, I removed the carpeted panel under the passenger side of the dash. Dropped the ECM, I think. Look up with a light and you will see the relay. Instead of fighting to get it out, I unplugged it and plugged in the new one and stuffed it up there. It would be a real pain to actually remove the old relay. The good news is, when done the speakers all came to life and work great.
