It is a good driver that can get all the goodies out of a car. Ya done good, my friend!

He're one of my favorite vids - a 91 ZR-1, stock LT5 (350 cid) bottom, fully ported, Gen II cams (4), LT headers into a 3" B&B.

Best run that day was an 11.1 at 129+. I've seen Pete in that car take the "smug" right off the faces of some later mo Vette drivers, including a couple C6-Z06s too. Long live the C4s!

The C6 driver probably already made a run previous to the run against Weav. The C6 will pull timing out the next time it's floored. That's why it looked like he didn't go anywhere.

Still that's an impressive run !

There's not much better than beating a newer or higher dollar car like that. I once raced a Countach and giggled as I watched him in my rearview mirror. That was my personal favorite, I love those cars, but damn dude couldn't drive or shift
