Default My First Corvette

I just received my 1984 last night put new shocks on her first thing this morning. Car needs much attention.
LCD Dash just stopped working.
AC does not work.
Heat stays on all the time.

This Forum seems to have all the answers I plan on doing some work on it tomorrow and will update my progress. The way it is now seems great except for the repairs i need to make. I just hope I stop driving it long enough to fix her. Also the original GM warranty from the original owner is in it it says that it was delivered on 11/09/83 pre 1984.

Any help will be appreciated.

My 84 has NO PROBLEMS (yet).

48,000 miles - all original.

I too am a newbie - bought mine a couple weeks ago.

Concerning the dash lights that do not work; try pushing in on the dash panel. Once in a while the dash on my 84 goes out. A gental but firm push on the left side of the dash solves the problem. Most likely a poor electrical connection behind the dash.

welcome, and good luck, and enjoy the car, stop working on it when it's not fun anymore, or you'll grow to hate it. LOL

Congrats!

Spend some time learning how the forum works (especially the "search" function!), reading member replies to questions so you can get an idea who to pay extra attention to, and don't be in too big a hurry to start spending money!

A little research of the forum can yield a wealth of information on where to start and what to expect.

Keep us posted!
