My cruise control is blowing the fuse. 93 Auto Coupe(It's a Ruby). My owners manual and a 94 OM that I looked at call for a 5 amp fuse. The fuse box door is labeled 5 amp. My red shop manual calls for it to be a 10 amp?
According to the book the cruise module is under the passenger dash and the cruise relay is under the drivers side. Does anybody know if you remove the lower panels or the dash trim and glove box to get to these?
My neighbor says it's usually the relay that gets old and draws too much current, any wild guesses before I get the meter out?
The cruuise worked just fine until I pulled out my saggy headliner, who would have thought they were connected?
being that the cruise turnsignal and brights are all on this lever it takes a lot of abuse, a lot of times the wires for the cruise get cut by the bottom of the lever and if there touching could be blowin fuses
