Default Foglight electrical help

I just ordered my 3000k HID Fog's from Corvettehid.com.

I had a question about fog light wiring. On my stock configuration now, You need to have the headlights flipped up and on to use the fog lights. I'd like to figure out how to be able to turn my fog lights on, while NOT having to turn my headlights on, or flip them up. Any help? I'm an electrical newbie, so any detailed descriptions would help a lot.

What year is it? There are DRL kits but they only use the park lights...

It's a 1988 Base Model Auto just for the record.

I KNOW I've seen pictures of guys running only fogs, but I'm horrible with electrical stuff.

My 86 has a foglight button. Does the 88 not? Pull the headlight **** out halfway then push the right side foglight button in...

I'm well aware how to turn my fog lights on. I want to be able to turn my fog lights on without my headlights being on. I'd like to have the ability to run fog-lights only. I'm wondering how I wire them to be able to run fogs only.

If i hit the fog switch with the headlights off, it doesn't do anything, which i guess means that the fogs are wired through the headlights.

Did you pull the headlight switch HALF WAY out, or ALL the way out ??

It took me two months to figure out where the windshield wiper button was. I kept a squeegie in my car.

Im pretty sure you can phantom !
Just pull the headlight switch halfway, that will turn your parking lights on.-
Then you must have a switch for foglights on/off ,that's all !

That's an impressive thread!

We sell an HID fog light kit that comes with bulbs which have modified bases so you don't have to do all of that work. They connect right into your bulb holder like the stock bulbs do

Check it out! http://www.corvettehid.com/cart/inde...roducts_id=189

I ALMOST ordered the kit you did. Thank god I waited. Unfourtanatley, I paid twice the amount for interior leds than if I had waited for corvettehid.com

I think he waited to show his product until after we wasted money on lesser more expensive products.
