I thought I read somewhere that these ports have to be left open, otherwise the hood can fly off. Somebody said it happened during the testing of the 1983 Vettes.

they are cool looking tho

they are cool looking tho
The product is actually a vinyl graphic. It does not block the vent it adheres to the body side of the Corvette

The "fade" is cool, but how 'bout some flames? Yellow and red, or how 'bout some ghost flames??

I've been looking for some sort of static-cling graphics to put in my car's "gills". I think you're on the right track, gentlemen.
