Well, I got the dreaded "pink slip" last night. Due to the "economy"

I feel your pain. I was laid off of my job back in April and have not been able to find employment that will pays more than unemployment. The economy is in the toilet. Just hang in there and I hope things work out for you.

Sucks, don't it? I've been off since Nov 08. My town is up to 12% unemployment rate. Just got a 46 wk extension on benefits though. I'm going back to school for more training. There ain't nothing out there anyway, at least not around here.

It does suck, I really enjoyed that job and worked hard at it. It was one of those "I had would have bad moments, but never a bad day" kind of place. But even America's Gourmet Burgers and Spirits is subject to this ridiculous economy.
Oh well, maybe my Powerball will hit tonight and I can open the Corvette shop. Hire some good out of work Chevy techs, pay 'em what they're worth and not give a darn if the place makes a dime. Now that's livin' the dream fellas.

I havent worked since Nov,its kind of strange.Ive worked 5-6 days a week for 28 years and only 2 jobs in that time.A little break is nice,unemployment is paying the bills so I figure Ill get back some of mine
