Paint Problem

Does anyone know what can be done about the paint problem I have as seen in the picture below? I tried paint cleaners and they don't work. These areas seem to get bigger over time. This seems to be a problem with older GM cars.

This is a black car and the problem is the whiteish haze.

Suggest you post this on the paint/body forum - It's off the "Main" Forum page, just scroll down the "Main" page til you find it. Knowledgable people there. But I too go with clear coat is failing.

The clear coat is failing,the only thing to fix this is a repaint.

I look at paint everyday and yes, hate to say it, but the clearcoat is lifting from the base. Unfortunately there is no way to stop it, and it is a common problem of your era. Even garage kept, my 85's paint went like this in 95. Did a repaint of the area, and by 2000, the rest of the car was like this.
