Sorry if this has already been posted, haven't been around much lately. Too nice outside.
This is what "cash for clunkers" is doing. It is sickening. At least part the cars out. That was a very used C4 but great parts engine they destroyed. Same for the pick up truck.
Makes me sick.

from what I understand, it's an elixer of such that gets delivered into the oilstream (and that's about everywhere in the engine) that granulates with heat and has extreme corrosive qualities regarding iron and aluminum. the intent is of course , to render the engine and all parts(remember, the goal is to produce an engine that can NEVER be rebuilt to return to service), to a non-usable piece of scrap, good only for the smelters.

Yeah, these ****** are laughing as they destroy these usable vehicles too. I bet if a radiator hose popped and scalded the crap out of them, they wouldn't think it was so damn funny. They probably drain them first though. I wonder whose water supply they're contaminating with that. You know somebody is gonna screw up or some crook is gonna' "cheap out" on the waste disposal of what's left of those cars.

for an admisnstration that is supposed to be "green", why don't they "recycle" these cars (resell them as whole or in parts) to reclaim at least SOME of that $4500 back to the taxpayers?????!!!!
instead they ruin any possible monetary value of return for our money. at a time when money is short, and it's a buyer's market out there, those cars could keep a lot of families mobile to their jobs, and small business owners who need trucks etc rolling in business! now all they do is employ these *** hats to destroy revenue!

Why don't they just park these cars along the border with a jug of water inside. That way, the Wet...excuse me, illegals won't have to walk thirsty across the desert to the next American hospital so they can have their babies on my dime!
